The Radford City Democratic Committee will be having a very important meeting at the Recreation Hall in Radford at 6pm on Monday, August 18th. We are so happy to announce that Creigh Deeds, Democratic Candidate for Governor will be attending, as well as Jon Bowerbank, Democratic Candidate for Lt. Governor. Representatives from the Obama campaign will be on hand, as will Democracy Prevails PAC to providing Obama bumperstickers, pins and yard signs. This is your chance to pick up materials and sign up to work for Obama and Mark Warner.

The New River Valley Young Democrats (NRVYD) is working to create an inclusive and supporting atmosphere for all Young Democrats in the New River Valley, Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, and Pulaski Counties, and Radford City. Anyone who resides in this area and is aged 13 to 35 is eligible for membership. The goals of NRVYD are to support electing Democratic candidates for public office, get young adults politically active, educate people on matters of public policy, prepare young people for positions of leadership, and to serve our community.
The first organizational meeting of the NRV Young Democrats will be held on April 13th at the She-Sha Hookah Lounge.
